Governor’s Awards for the Arts represent a Pennsylvania tradition begun in 1980 by Governor Dick Thornburgh. The 2017 Governor's Awards for the Arts will take place at 7 p.m. on October 26 at the Lancaster County Convention Center. There are many public events in the week leading up to the awards (including Poetry Rolls!).
